PC Repairs, Upgrades & Services

Whether your PC has developed a fault, needs more performance or just needs a tidy-up, our technicians can help. Every job is handled in our Rosedale, Auckland workshop by the same team that builds and stress-tests Playtech PCs, and we've been building PCs since 1991. We also work on PCs that weren't built by Playtech; service fees apply.

What we can do

• System diagnostics. Not sure what's wrong? We run your PC through our diagnostics test suite to pinpoint the problem and tell you how to fix it.
• Component upgrades. We install new parts such as a graphics card, memory or storage, then install drivers and configure the system. You can supply the parts, or buy them from us.
• Data cloning. Moving to a bigger or faster drive? We clone your existing drive onto the new one, for example from a hard drive to an SSD, or from a SATA SSD to an NVMe SSD. (This is cloning, not data recovery.)
• BIOS updates. Installing a new CPU, or want the latest stability fixes? We update your motherboard's BIOS for you.
• PC assembly. Bought your own parts? We'll build the system for you, with Windows installed and a full burn-in test with a report if you choose full assembly.
• Cable management. We re-route your system's cabling to improve airflow and appearance.
• Cleaning and case transfers. We remove dust, remount the CPU cooler with fresh thermal paste and clean the case, or move your components into a new case.

Warranty repairs

Every Playtech PC comes with a 3-year warranty. If your PC develops a fault under warranty, contact us first so we can help troubleshoot. If it needs to come in, we provide a free return courier ticket for NZ residential addresses. Repairs are usually completed within 2 to 3 working days of the PC arriving at our workshop. Sending your PC to us

1. Contact us by live chat, by email at hello@playtech.co.nz or by phone on 09 415-1020 so our team can create a support ticket for your PC.
2. Pack it safely. Use the original Playtech box if you still have it. If you don't, you can order Replacement PC Packaging, which is designed to protect your system in transit.
3. Send it in or drop it off at 15d Paul Matthews Road, Rosedale, Auckland 0632. Walk-in drop-offs are welcome, but please create a support ticket with our team first so we know your PC is coming and what it needs.

Delivery back to you

We ship across New Zealand with NZ Post and DHL, and you'll get a tracking number by email once your PC is dispatched. You can choose from three delivery options:

• Economy: photo on delivery, no signature.
• Standard: a signature is required on delivery.
• Protected: signature required, plus Playtech Shipping Protection against loss, theft and transit damage.
